「美味しいお酒を呑んで頂きたい」と、消費者最優先の考え方で瓶燗 火入れをし、手間のかけた造りです。メインの商品、純米吟醸『くどき上手』が全体の7割を越え、蔵内平均精白50％の全量吟醸酒を製造しています。創業は1875年（明治8年）出羽三山の1つ羽黒山神社よりほど近い、田園の中にあります。現在は約1300石、四季折々の変化が美しく、清らかな水、新鮮な空気、恵まれた環境の中で酒造りをしています。
