創業は明治27年、家族で焼酎造りを続けています。焼酎造りだけにとどまらず、原料の芋も自社の畑で育てるなどこだわり抜いた造り手です。「無農薬、無肥料の自家栽培芋へのこだわり」白石酒造さんの地元では農家の高齢化が進み、耕作放棄地となっている畑が数多くあります。白石酒造さんは、土地の持ち主の方々にご理解とご協力をいただき、これらの土地をお借りして畑を開墾し、さつま芋を作る取り組みを行っています。
